OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE THE HIGHEST QUALITY ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGICAL CARE IN A WHOLESOME CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT.
For over 30 years, Wells Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Association has served patients across northeast Florida and southeast Georgia.
Oral and maxillofacial surgery is a specialty of dentistry that includes the diagnosis, surgical and adjunctive treatment of diseases, injuries, and defects involving both the functional and aesthetic aspects of the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial regions (mouth and jaws). Dr. Marvin Wells has been practicing in this area for over 30 years, and has had extensive exposure in both the medical and dental aspects of treatment in the maxillofacial region. Because management of many problems involving this region requires a strong understanding of form, function and occlusion, Dr. Wells is uniquely qualified to treat problems in this area. He is also privileged to have a dedicated and experienced staff to assist him in the provision of oral and maxillofacial services.
Dr. Wells is a regional authority in the diagnosis and treatment of facial trauma. He also provides treatment in functional and cosmetic facial defects. In addition to performing wisdom teeth and routine extractions, Dr. Wells also provides dental implant and bone grafting services for management of various jaw defects and lost of teeth.
Dr. Wells performs orthognathic surgery and reconstructive jaw surgery to correct congenital deformities and mouth and jaw malformations. He also provides aesthetic facial surgical services, and treats jaw tumors, pain and dysfunction associated with the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and certain types of facial pain. Arthroscopic and open joint surgery is also available for TMJ sufferers who do not respond to more conservative therapies.
As a provider of services throughout northeast Florida and south Georgia, our office is eager to have the opportunity to serve you! We invite you to call and schedule an appointment at either our Jacksonville or St. Augustine office.
